The 2013 model year marked a very special milestone for Corvette: 60 years of America’s Sports Car. To celebrate, Chevrolet offered the 60th Anniversary Design Package, finished in Arctic White with a Diamond Blue leather-wrapped interior, blue convertible top, special 60th Anniversary badging, and Pearl Silver Blue full-length racing stripes.

But this is not just any anniversary Corvette. This is the highly desirable 427 Convertible, combining open-air driving with the legendary 7.0L LS7 V8 from the Z06. Rated at 505 horsepower and paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, the 427 Convertible delivered true Z06-level performance in a drop-top grand touring package.

The 427 Convertible also received several serious performance upgrades, including carbon-fiber front fenders, carbon-fiber raised hood, wider Z06-style bodywork, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, larger brakes, and performance suspension tuning. It was one of the most powerful and collectible convertibles of the C6 generation, and it served as a fitting final sendoff for the sixth-generation Corvette.
